Merman’s Apprentice
It all started when…
Emma was introduced to the show MERMAN’S APPRENTICE by a theatre friend. She started listening to the Birdland concert album and telling other people about the cute, quirky show. Emma worked up the nerve to introduce the show to Jaime Love, a producer at Sonoma Arts Live, during the strike of their production of HELLO DOLLY in 2018. Jaime started to research this show (that’s never fully been staged) and ended up connecting with the writer Stephen Cole. Eventually, Sonoma Arts Live decided to produce the World Premiere production of the show.
The rest, is history!
